Job summary

Family Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead the kitchen team, ensure quality, safety, and sanitation, and control costs. You will manage inventory, assist with menu planning, and work with managers to maintain high standards.

The role reports to the General Manager, requires strong communication, and the ability to train staff and handle scheduling for peak times.

Qualifications

• High School graduates, 21+ years old.
• Able to understand and speak the predominant language of guests.
• 3+ years of kitchen supervisor experience.
• Communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and cost control.
• Experience in recipe creation and costing.
• Familiar with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Promote and act in line with Family Entertainment Group's mission.
• Monitor sanitation to meet federal/state guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for kitchen areas and equipment.
• Ensure proper food holding and refrigeration temperatures.
• Estimate supplies and control food costs.
• Instruct cooks and supervise kitchen staff.
• Plan menus with managers and price new items.
