Job summary

BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Goodyear, AZ to lead all restaurant operations during opening, mid, or closing shifts and to ensure a Gold Standard guest experience.

The role requires at least two years of restaurant management in a high-volume casual dining environment, strong leadership, and a commitment to training and safety. Competitive pay and benefits are provided, with quarterly bonus potential and relocation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years full-service, high-volume casual dining restaurant management experience.
• High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship and performance management skills.
• Ability to motivate and direct team members and work effectively in management team.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, supervise and train restaurant team members to deliver the Gold Standard guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws; lead opening, mid, or closing operations.
• Oversee local marketing, sales building and community involvement.
• Coach, mentor and discipline hourly team members; support guest relations and recovery.
• Direct service execution and ensure guest satisfaction throughout shifts.
