Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Austin, TX seeks an Engineer IV, Key Account Technologist to oversee site engineering activities and lead major improvement programs. The role requires strong program management skills, cost estimation, quality disciplines, and deep semiconductor processing knowledge.

You will work with Sales to develop customer-ready technical roadmaps, drive process development, and ensure successful implementation of solutions across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry or Physics, or semiconductor-related field.
• Master’s degree or higher in above subjects preferred.
• Combination of demonstrated skills and experience may be considered in lieu of a higher degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic process development across multiple sites for new capabilities and yield improvement.
• Apply mass, momentum, and heat transfer principles to process and equipment design.
• Define process requirements for NPI and new line startups.
• Serve as technical lead for global peers with guidance on complex problems.
• Collaborate with Sales to create customer-ready technical roadmaps and lead projects to completion.
• Advise Operations and Sales to deploy engineering solutions and resolve issues.
