CORE Construction in Las Vegas seeks a Senior Commercial Superintendent to lead on-site execution of high-value projects from mobilization to punch-out. You will drive sequencing, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on complex institutional work.

The role requires proven leadership with $10M+ project experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage field teams across multiple scopes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 10 years in a supervisory role.
• Project experience delivering institutional or commercial work valued at $10M+.
• Proficiency in reviewing ASIs, RFIs, and submittals; strong field coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership to guide diverse field teams.
• Willing to travel within Nevada as needed for project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site activities for large-scale commercial construction projects from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coach and monitor subcontractors to ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain a critical path schedule with milestone dates for subcontractors and vendors.
• Review drawings, specifications, ASIs, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and coordination.
• Implement quality control to ensure timely correction of deficiencies and top-tier outcomes.
• Facilitate proactive subcontractor coordination across multiple scopes.
• Resolve field conditions by collaborating with owner, architect, and engineers.
• Produce daily reports and weekly schedule updates for stakeholders.
• Uphold jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation.
• Serve as CORE’s on-site representative, maintaining client relationships.

Job Overview

CORE Construction is hiring a Senior Commercial Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of high-value, complex commercial construction projects in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing all phases of construction from mobilization to final punch-out. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation—while ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met. You’ll play a vital role in delivering institutional projects that impact communities—ranging from K-12 and higher education to healthcare and civic facilities, often valued well above $10 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site activities for large-scale commercial construction projects from mobilization through project closeout.

• Maintain a critical path project schedule, ensuring subcontractors and vendors meet milestone dates.

• Facilitate proactive subcontractor coordination, ensuring seamless execution across multiple scopes.
• Resolve unforeseen field conditions by working directly with the owner, architect, and engineering teams.
• Produce detailed daily reports and deliver weekly schedule updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Uphold jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation at all times.
• Serve as CORE’s on-site representative, maintaining client relationships and reinforcing our reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 10 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership in delivering institutional and commercial projects of $10M+ in value.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor management.
• Proficient in reviewing and managing ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to lead diverse field teams and represent CORE to clients and partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore.
• Experience with CMAR and Design-Build delivery methods required.
• OSHA 30 Certification and a valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be willing to travel within Nevada as needed for project execution.

Schedule

• Full-Time - Monday to Friday
• Typical schedule: 45-55 hours per week, with occasional extended hours depending on project needs.

• Projects are based in Southern Nevada. Some in-state travel may be required depending on assignments.
