Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Juniper Network Engineer to support US Air Force infrastructure modifications. You will engineer, migrate, and optimize Juniper routing and switching, and lead data-center fabric initiatives.

The role requires a Secret clearance and hands-on experience with Juniper Mist, EVPN/VXLAN, and automation. Onsite work at Charleston AFB, SC is expected with a strong focus on DoD standards and secure configurations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Juniper enterprise networking.
• Experience with Juniper routing, switching, security, and data-center networking.
• Proficiency with Junos OS on EX, QFX, MX, SRX platforms.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, and multicast.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering, migration, and optimization of Juniper routing, switching, campus fabrics, and Mist AI-managed enterprise environments.
