Job summary

Telos Corporation is seeking a Juniper Engineer / Network Integration Engineer to design and implement secure SD-WAN solutions across wired and wireless networks. The role focuses on integrating Juniper devices, LAN/WAN, video services, wireless, and 5G, while ensuring high security and documentation quality.

Based remotely with Ashburn as a base, the candidate must hold a DoD Secret Clearance, possess DoD 8140 Cyber IT compliance, and demonstrate leadership, site surveys, and strong written

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent (5–7 years).
• DoD 8140 Cyber IT Workforce compliant (Security+ or equiv).
• Juniper certifications (JNCIP/JNCIE) with equivalent experience.
• Extensive networking and network administration experience.
• Strong technical writing skills with MS Office Suite including Visio.
• Knowledge of TR, CAT6, wiring standards; BICSI a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and valid driver's license.
• US citizenship eligibility required for access to sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Build solution designs and integrate development for SD-WAN with Juniper devices including LAN/WAN, video, wireless and 5G.
• Install, integrate, operate and maintain secure wired/wireless LAN implementations.
• Conduct site surveys to design network layouts and material requirements.
• Create extensive documentation of design, locations, materials and integration approach.
• Use network knowledge to design and integrate wired/wireless LAN/WAN systems.
• Test and evaluate wired and wireless networks for performance and security.
• Design and test prototype components to validate before fielding.
• Provide recommendations to fix problems and improve systems.
• Author detailed technical documentation and assembly/integration guides.
• Train technicians and junior engineers.
