Job summary

Foxhole Technology is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to design, implement, and secure enterprise network infrastructure in support of federal civilian and defense missions. You will manage Juniper/Cisco devices, VMware networking, and Palo Alto firewalls to meet RMF and STIG compliance.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for TS
• 8+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
• Hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco networking equipment, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), switching, VLAN design and configuration
• VMware networking components, firewall administration and rule management
• Strong understanding of network segmentation, security zones and access control
• Familiarity with DoD standards (RMF, STIGs, NIST 800-53)
• Must have a current DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE)
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure using Juniper and Cisco hardware
• Design and maintain complex routing/switching environments (BGP/OSPF, VLANs)
• Implement VMware-based virtual networking environments
• Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewalls per DoD requirements
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across enclaves
• Apply ITIL-based ITSM/ITAM practices and document configurations
• Support Tier II/III troubleshooting and incident response
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align with RMF, STIGs and DoD standards
• Maintain network diagrams and comprehensive documentation
