Job summary

RTX is seeking a Jira Administrator to join our DevSecOps team in Marlborough MA or Tewksbury MA. You will manage Jira user accounts, workflows, and cross-system integrations (Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins) in a large, on-site enterprise environment.

The role requires a security clearance and experience with ScriptRunner, Structure, and JSU Automation. You will drive automation, optimize project structures, develop dashboards and reports, and help implement upgrades with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and Jira Administrator expertise.
• Experience with Jira automation using Groovy or JavaScript and ScriptRunner.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Jira dashboards for large programs.
• Experience integrating Jira with Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead user management and permissions across Jira servers including onboarding/offboarding.
• Standardize Jira projects and manage synchronization automation for configurations.
• Perform advanced system maintenance for performance and reliability.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and create strategic training initiatives.
• Architect workflows, permissions, and project structures to meet requirements.
• Lead upgrade initiatives with planning, testing and execution.
• Manage tool integrations with Confluence, GitLab and other DevOps platforms.
• Implement advanced customizations using Structure, ScriptRunner, JSU Automation.
• Design dashboards, reports and queries for complex stakeholder needs.
• Document configurations and processes for knowledge transfer.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventative measures.
• Develop scripts to automate processes and improve functionality.
• Lead refactoring to align with best practices.
