Job summary

The SWX group at Stellantis is seeking a Jira Administrator to plan, implement, and maintain the Jira platform and plugins across a global software development environment. You will enable efficient, high-quality software delivery by configuring Jira, automating workflows, and integrating with Confluence, GitHub, CI/CD, and related tools.

Candidates should have 5+ years of Jira experience, strong English communication, and hands-on scripting with Groovy/Java REST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Jira administration, configuration, and customization in a software development environment.
• Experience with Atlassian plugins such as ScriptRunner, Jira Service Management (JSM), and JSU Automation Suite for Jira Workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Jira Query Language (JQL) and automation capabilities.
• Integration development using Java and REST API/other technologies.
• Familiarity with REST API integrations between Jira and other development tools.
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken technical English.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Quick learner who is passionate about their work and willing to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that deploys and supports the Atlassian Jira platform across global software development teams.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define strategies and deliver solutions that enable efficient software development processes and quality software deliveries.
• Implement methods and tools supporting agile work management, issue tracking, change management, release management, test management, and reporting.
• Configure, customize, and administer Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications.
• Support Jira integrations with Confluence, Github, CI/CD tools, and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools (ERM, ETM, RMM).
• Develop and maintain Jira automations and scripting using Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, Groovy, and REST APIs.
• Support deployment of Jira change across multiple departments.
• Provide end-user training and support to improve tool adoption and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with other team members applying Agile methodologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices for Atlassian tools and DevOps processes.
