Job summary

RTX is seeking a Jira Administrator to join its DevSecOps team on-site in Marlborough, MA (or nearby Marlborough/TEWKs). You will manage Jira instances across environments, implement workflows, automate processes and integrate Confluence and other DevOps tools to support radar software programs.

The role requires a STEM degree with at least 5 years of Jira experience, strong scripting skills in Groovy/ScriptRunner and JavaScript, and the ability to obtain US Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a Jira Administrator with workflows, permissions and issue types.
• Familiar with Jira automation, Groovy ScriptRunner, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and Jira dashboards.
• Experience with Structure plugin and configuration management tools (Git, GitLab).
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Interim Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee user accounts, permissions, onboarding and offboarding to AD groups.
• Maintain consistency across Jira projects and synchronize configurations.
• Perform regular system maintenance for reliability.
• Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and offer training.
• Design and maintain Jira workflows, permissions and project structures.
• Assist with system upgrades and smooth transitions.
• Manage integrations with Confluence, GitLab and other DevOps tools.
• Implement customizations using plugins (Structure, ScriptRunner, JSU).
• Develop dashboards, reports and queries for actionable insights.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations and processes.
• Monitor system performance and address potential issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts; refactor implementations as needed.
