Job summary

E-INFOSOL LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a highly capable Jira Engineer to administer, configure, and optimize Jira and Jira Service Management environments. The role focuses on governance, scalability, and platform administration to support diverse enterprise processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Jira DC/Cloud, ScriptRunner, REST API integrations, and SQL databases, along with strong workflow engineering and security model expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Jira administration, configuration, and governance.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed for contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administers, configures, and optimizes Jira and Jira Service Management environments.
• Configure and maintain Jira workflows, transitions, issue types, screen schemes, field configurations, and permission schemes.
• Create and tune JQL queries for dashboards, reports, and SLA tracking.
• Manage Jira Data Center and Jira Cloud environments, including user management and performance monitoring.
• Provide user support, training, and operational guidance for Jira and JSM functionality.
