Job summary

RTX is seeking a dedicated Jira Administrator for onsite roles in Marlborough, MA (or nearby Te wk sbury). You will lead user management, project standardization, and advanced automation across multiple Jira servers to support large-scale IS programs.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering and Radar Digital Product Line to deliver reliable Jira solutions, oversee integrations with Confluence and GitLab, and drive upgrades with minimal business disruption while adhering to security

Qualifications

• Must have STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a Jira Administrator with workflows, permissions, and issue types.
• Experience with Jira automation and scripting (Groovy/ScriptRunner or JavaScript).
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and automation practices.
• Experience with Jira dashboards and plugins like Structure.
• Enterprise-level configuration management tools (Git, GitLab).
• Strong Agile/Scrum understanding and Jira optimization experience.
• Active and transferable US security clearance is required.

• Perform advanced system maintenance for performance and reliability.
• Provide senior user support and develop training initiatives.

• Manage integrations with Confluence, GitLab, and other DevOps tools.
• Oversee advanced customizations using plugins like Structure and ScriptRunner.
• Design dashboards, reports, and queries for complex needs.
• Create comprehensive configuration and user guides for continuity.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventative measures.
• Develop and refine advanced scripts to automate processes.
• Lead refactoring to align with best practices.
