Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Jira Administrator in Marlborough, MA to lead management of user accounts, permissions, and workflows across Jira projects. You will drive standardization, automation, and integrations with Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools to support large-scale programs.

The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, plus strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

Degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience configuring Jira workflows, permissions and issue types.
Experience with Jira automation features and scripting (Groovy or JavaScript).
Experience with SDLC processes, especially scripting and automation.
Experience with Jira dashboards, reporting tools and plugins like Structure.
Experience with Git and GitLab for configuration management.
Experience with Agile/Scrum to support Jira workflows for large projects.
Active U.S. government Interim Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead management of Jira users, groups, onboarding and offboarding.
Drive alignment and standardization across Jira projects and boards.
Implement and maintain synchronization automation for configurations and issues.
Oversee advanced system maintenance for performance and reliability.
Provide senior-level user support and develop training initiatives.
Architect and optimize workflows, permissions, and project structures.
Lead Jira upgrade initiatives and testing across environments.
