Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a driven Jira Administrator to join our on-site team in Marlborough, MA (or nearby Te wksbury). You will collaborate with the Radar Digital Product Line and Platform Engineering to implement Jira solutions across multiple servers, aligning configurations for large IS programs in the Northeast.

The role requires strong Jira expertise, scripting for automation, SDLC familiarity, and the ability to obtain a US Government Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a Jira Administrator with workflows, permissions and issue types.
• Experience with Jira automation and scripting (Groovy/JavaScript).
• Experience with SDLC processes and Jira dashboards/plugins.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Lead user accounts and permissions management.
• Standardize Jira projects and maintain synchronization across configurations.
• Oversee system maintenance for performance and reliability.
• Provide senior user support and training initiatives.
• Design and optimize Jira workflows, permissions, and project structures.
• Lead upgrade initiatives and plan testing/execution.
• Manage integrations with Confluence, GitLab, and other DevOps tools.
• Develop advanced scripts to automate processes and refactor implementations.
• Design dashboards, reports and queries for stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation.
