Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) to develop and deliver JID courses, coordinate with Combatant Commander staffs, and manage JTO training programs.

You will plan, execute, and refine instruction, ensuring alignment with joint and allied interoperability objectives. This role requires a JT-301 graduate, 10+ years of Datalink experience, and the ability to deploy worldwide and operate specialized tools like LPDS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JT-301; Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• 10 years of Datalink experience and military instructor background.
• Willing to deploy worldwide, including field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum, conduct instruction, and maintain JID courses.
• Liaise with operational Combatant Commander staffs for exercise planning and preparation.
• Prepare or review OPTASK LINK messages for use in JTO exercises.
• Assist in selection, modification, or request of Link 16 networks to support JTO 2 exercises.
• Perform analysis of multi-TDL architecture performance and institute changes based on observations.
• Coordinate with development and acquisition agencies for procurement of, and evaluate JICO automated tools.
• Maintain configuration management of the JICO automated tools.
• Operate the Link 16 Pulse Deconfliction Server (LPDS) and assist users with Frequency Clearance and TSDF issues.
• Represent JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups.
• Provide course planning and administration, including development and maintenance of schedules, hands-on field training, handouts and notifications.
• Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain JID course materials.
• Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements.
