Job summary

FTAI Aviation Ltd. in Miami, FL is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections on civil aviation engine components in accordance with manufacturer instructions, airworthiness directives, and FAA guidelines.

You will lead inspection activities, ensure tools are calibrated, record findings, and collaborate with repair staff to return articles to service. Requirements include a High School diploma, an Airframe and/or Powerplant license, 3–5 years in a lead role, and borescope inspection experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to read/interpret technical data.
• Ability to communicate inspection priorities clearly to team.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on civil aviation engine parts per manufacturer instructions and FAA standards.
• Maintain proficiency with inspection tools, calibration data, and records.
• Disassemble/repair engine components as needed and document results.
• Lead inspection activities and coordinate with technicians; ensure proper approvals before return to service.
