Job summary

Global Engine Maintenance LLC is seeking a Detail Inspector in Florida to perform visual and dimensional inspections of engine parts, identify discrepancies, and ensure airworthiness per FAA data and ICA. The role requires reading OEM manuals, applying precision measurement tools, and reporting NCRs as needed.

Experience with CFM56 piece part inspection and a preferred Powerplant License are valued, with audits and quality control as ongoing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with CFM56 engine piece part inspection, repair, and return to service.
• A valid Powerplant License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming engine parts and components.
• Identify and document pre-existing damage, missing parts, or discrepancies upon receipt.
• Use precision measurement tools to inspect engine parts/components for wear, defects, or nonconformance.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborate with engineers and technicians to determine corrective actions.
• Participate in FAA audits, customer audits, and internal quality control evaluations.
