Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java Tech Lead to own a reactive, event-driven platform and shape service architecture and API contracts. You will enforce Domain-Driven Design across the engineering team and guide deployment practices for cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Reactive.
• Hands-on with Kafka and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Angular 18 and TypeScript.
• English at upper-intermediate level for cross-team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own service architecture and API contracts for a reactive, event-driven platform.
• Enforce Domain-Driven Design principles across the engineering team.
• Integrate frontend applications with Spring Reactive microservices streaming through Kafka.
• Set engineering standards for testing, code reviews, observability, and security.
• Guide deployment and release practices, including CI/CD on cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Mentor engineers and partner with product stakeholders to shape ambiguous requirements into deliverable work.
