Job summary

SQUAD Technology Solutions is seeking a Java Senior Developer with reactive programming for a banking project. You will design and implement scalable backend services using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Project Reactor, and microservices architecture.

This is a 100% remote engagement with an international client. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead large refactoring efforts, ensure performance and reliability, and contribute to cutting-edge backend solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise with Java 17/21 and modern language features.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Project Reactor, RxJava, and CompletableFuture.
• Hands-on experience with gRPC and Protobuf, including streaming RPCs.
• Solid background in Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for data-intensive apps.
• Cloud experience on AWS (S3, IAM, Managed Kafka, containers).
• Expertise in Docker, multi-architecture images, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience leading large-scale refactoring or migration projects; strong English (C1).
