Job summary

Synechron seeks a Senior / Lead Java Full Stack Developer to build scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, React, and Angular. The Lead will mentor development teams and provide technical guidance to deliver complex projects.

The role emphasizes design of event-driven architectures, RESTful APIs, and front-end components, with a base Charlotte, NC salary band and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software design, testing, security, and performance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Avro, Protobuf, or Schema Registry.
• Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Redux, or RxJS.
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience leading technical initiatives in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Angular.
• Design and maintain scalable microservices.
• Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive and reusable frontend components.
• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code.
• Participate in architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical planning.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
• For Lead roles: mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
