Citi in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking an Java Development Lead to drive the evolution of Citi's application platforms. You will lead architecture discussions, mentor teams, and deliver high-impact Java-based solutions across microservices and Spring Boot.

Join a hybrid team with in-office collaboration three days a week and two days remote, focusing on scalable, standards-driven software that aligns with Citi's broader technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in applications development or systems analysis with hands-on Java/J2EE/Microservices/Spring Boot.
• Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development with a track record of delivering technology projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities, including coaching and allocating work.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as business needs change.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Build and evolve full stack Java applications using J2EE, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
• Partner with management teams to align enhancements with business goals and roadmaps.
• Resolve complex technical issues by evaluating processes, architecture, and standards.
• Ensure designs align with Citi's technology architecture and coding standards.
• Define coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards to improve quality.
• Connect architecture decisions to broader business objectives in solution design.
• Coach and mentor mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work and guiding decisions.
• Identify and manage risk in technical and business decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
