Citi is seeking an experienced FX Risk Java Developer to join their market technology team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves designing and implementing high-performance Java applications, developing distributed systems, and implementing risk calculation services.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Java development and software engineering.
Strong understanding of core Java, multi-threading, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and message queuing systems.
Working knowledge of Linux and JVM internals.
English proficiency at a B1 level.

Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms for Java applications.
Develop distributed Java applications using multi-threading and TDD.
Implement risk calculation services for global markets.
Interact with various SQL and NoSQL databases.
Integrate with messaging systems like Kafka and Solace.
Troubleshoot and provide Level-3 support for production issues.
Work on Linux-based environments and perform JVM tuning.
