Citi in Tampa, Florida seeks a senior Java Developer/SQL Lead to drive design, development and governance of cross-functional platforms. You will lead applications systems analysis and programming with a hands-on, technically deep approach.

The role requires strong JAVA/Spring/SQL skills, distributed platform experience, and the ability to coach mid-level engineers while aligning with enterprise architecture and governance.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Apps Development or systems analysis experience.
• Strong JAVA/Spring/SQL hands-on experience on a distributed platform.
• Experience with Kafka/messaging and caching products such as Gemfire or Redis.
• Leadership and project management skills; SME in at least one area.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to integrate functions and deploy improvements.
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of processes and systems.
• Provide expertise to ensure design adheres to the architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts; manage risk and compliance.
