Job summary

AccessHR, Inc. seeks a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a Defense-focused team supporting DISA. You will develop microservices with Java Spring Boot and deliver React-based UI components in an Agile DevSecOps environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Java/Spring Boot and 5+ years in React, with DoD clearance/citizenship and the ability to travel in the Laurel, MD area. Telework options available within the DC metro region.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related discipline plus four years of experience; or bachelor’s degree plus eight years; or 12–15 years in software development without a degree.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• 8+ years in Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years developing React web applications.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira/Confluence.
• 3+ years of Agile experience with DevSecOps & CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack Java Spring Boot backend services and React frontend UI.
• Participate in full agile lifecycle for microservice API development.
• Work with Postgres and Redis databases.
• Ensure automated unit testing with Junit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams and deliver stories independently.
• Support testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Conform to development standards and perform code reviews.
