Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Software Engineer to build and enhance our Billing and Invoicing tech stack. You will work on Java/Spring Boot solutions across SaaS and in-house apps, collaborating with product owners and peers to deliver reliable billing capabilities.

You will contribute to design, development, and deployment in a fast-paced environment, with focus on quality, security, and scalable systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience developing large-scale software.
• 5+ years of experience with REST APIs and high-volume transactions.
• 3+ years of messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and cloud frameworks.
• 3+ years of authentication protocols like OAuth and SAML.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver software as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Support production and triage issues for resilient systems.
• Collaborate with product owners to define strategy and scope.
• Deliver new concepts/features in an agile environment.
• Use automated tests to ensure high quality.
