Job summary

Auria is seeking a Software Engineer to support the C2BMC program in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on Java/J2EE development for the Regional Applications teams, with responsibilities ranging from design and coding to testing and support.

Strong problem solving and mentoring are valued in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The position requires an active Secret clearance and experience on DoD programs, with potential leadership on small software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or related field.
• Active Secret Security Clearance Required.
• 7+ years experience with an advanced degree, 9+ years with a Bachelor degree.
• Experience in at least one OO language (Java, C#, C++, Python).

Responsibilities

• Develop software in Java/J2EE for the C2BMC program on the Colorado Springs team.
• Perform in-depth analysis, debugging, testing, and supporting operating system applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team leadership.
• Collaborate with other support groups to resolve problems and improve efficiency.
