Job summary

Auria in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Software Engineer to support the C2BMC program. This on-site role involves analyzing real-world missile defense data and delivering features within an Agile Scrum team to meet program objectives.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field with 5 years of experience (or an MS with 3 years), and holds DoD TS/SCI eligibility. Proficiency in MATLAB and UNIX/Linux, plus strong math/physics foundations, is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with required experience.
DoD Final Top Secret with SCI eligibility at start.
Strong analytical background for predictive missile threat analysis.
Experience with large-scale simulations and data filtering in ballistic missile contexts.
Knowledge of BM/C2, MDS concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze real world data about Missile Defense and Space Domain Awareness.
As part of an Agile Scrum team, develop and complete features and stories mapped to program objectives.
Depending on the specific skills of the successful applicant, duties will include one or more of the following: Collect and interpret real world data; develop new algorithms to utilize the data effectively; actively update current algorithms based on new data.
