Job summary
Sligo Software Solutions Inc. seeks a senior developer to support the UISIm project, redesigning and implementing business processes for the Department of Labor.
You will guide a team, define integration standards, mentor state staff, and craft end-to-end solutions across J2EE, SOA, and Microservices in a cloud setting. You will also develop front-end components in Angular, leverage Hibernate/JPA for data access, and craft complex SQL/PLSQL queries for Oracle and DB2 while ensuring robust
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing integrated software solutions.
- Proven background in building N-Tier Web Applications using J2EE and industry patterns.
- Experience with REST/SOAP services and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong Agile methodologies experience and mentoring skills.
- Hands-on Hibernate/JPA ORM usage for data access.
- Proficiency with SQL/PLSQL in Oracle/DB2 environments.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with front-end development using Angular.
- Version control experience with GitHub/GitLab.
Responsibilities
- Guide a team of developers in analysis, design, and development of integrated solutions for the project.
- Establish and document standards and patterns for best practices of integration technologies.
- Mentor state staff developers in advanced programming techniques and skills.
- Create and review sequence and activity diagrams.
- Analyze, design, and develop services and business processes from requirements.
- Orchestrate system components into end-to-end business processes within a comprehensive system.
- Construct software applications using J2EE, SOA, and Microservice architectures.
- Build applications within a cloud environment (prefer Google Cloud Platform).
- Develop front-end screens using Angular methodologies.
- Develop data access using Hibernate/JPA.
- Create complex SQL/PLSQL queries for Oracle and DB2 with transaction management.
- Perform unit and integration testing and resolve defects.
- Perform performance testing using JMeter.
- Create and review technical documents for the software development lifecycle.
- Provide evaluations of new technologies from POC and POT work.
