Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing Java-based, multi-tier web applications using J2EE or Spring Boot.
• 4+ years of experience developing Angular user interfaces and accessible web applications.
• 4+ years of experience developing and integrating REST or SOAP services and backend components.
• 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and using DB2/Hibernate/JPA.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the UISIM project (Unemployment Insurance Service Improvement) within NYS Department of Labor, including redesign, implementation, operation, enhancement and maintenance of UISIM applications and platforms.
• Provide specialized technical support, incident resolution, and knowledge transfer to the team.
• Deliver enhancements and thorough documentation of system functionality.
