Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering large-scale Java applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD toolchains.
• Security-minded with CVE remediation and secure SDLC.
• Ability to lead complex technical work in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, testing, deployment, and support of secure Java-based features.
• Translate requirements into maintainable designs aligned with standards.
• Design and implement robust REST APIs and microservices.
• Apply secure coding practices and address vulnerabilities.
• Deliver solutions meeting acceptance criteria while managing reliability and performance.
• Participate in design reviews, testing strategy, and release planning.
• Provide technical leadership for platform upgrades and production readiness.
• Investigate production issues and drive durable fixes.
• Support controls, audits, and evidence collection.
• Mentor engineers and share reusable practices.
