Job summary

Bank of America in Denver seeks an accomplished Senior Java Developer to deliver secure Java-based features and services within the identity and authentication domain. This individual contributor translates requirements into robust designs, owns delivery from development through production support, and works in an Agile/DevOps environment with emphasis on security controls.

Shift: 1st shift; Hours per Week: 40; Pay range: $102,900–$179,900 annualized; Benefits eligible.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, delivering large-scale Java apps.
Strong Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
Experience with SQL and Oracle databases; Unix/Linux environments.
Container platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
CI/CD tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.

Responsibilities

Own design, development, testing, deployment, and support of secure Java features and services.
Translate requirements into maintainable designs aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.
Design REST APIs and microservices using Java/Spring.
Apply secure coding practices and remediate CVEs in the SDLC.
Lead technical work and production readiness activities; mentor engineers.
