Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering large Java applications.
Strong experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, and microservices.
Experience with Unix/Linux, containerization, and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

Own the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of secure Java-based features and services.
Translate product, business, security, and operational requirements into maintainable solution designs.
Design and implement robust REST APIs and microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
Apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle and support remediation of vulnerabilities.
Deliver solutions that meet acceptance criteria while managing reliability and performance.
Participate in estimation, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
Provide technical leadership for large or complex efforts, including platform upgrades.
Investigate production issues and drive durable corrective actions.
Support controls, compliance, evidence collection, and audit responses.
