Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering large-scale Java apps.
• Strong Java, Spring, REST APIs, and microservices experience.
• Experience with relational databases and Oracle performance tuning.
• Unix/Linux, containerization, CI/CD, and cloud security best practices.
• Ability to lead technical work and communicate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of secure Java features.
• Translate requirements into maintainable designs aligned with architecture.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring.
• Apply secure coding practices and remediate CVEs.
• Deliver solutions meeting acceptance criteria while managing reliability and debt.
• Lead technical reviews, testing strategy, releases, and delivery execution.
• Mentor engineers and support audits and compliance activities.
