Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with Java, Python and SQL in a large corporate environment.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating outputs for correctness and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use and security in engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, Application Resilience, and Security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine problem solving.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality and speed, with peer review and testing.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Develops data visualizations and reporting from large datasets for continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
