Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in Newark, DE within Commercial & Investment Bank - Post Trade Technology Reporting. You will join an agile team to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable technology products, driving modernization and enterprise-grade engineering practices.

You will design and own end-to-end development, contribute to product design, code, test, and collaborate across regional and global teams to ensure reliable delivery and strong security foundations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop code that conforms to the design, addresses non-functional requirements, and complies with coding standards.
• Create detailed unit test cases, perform unit/integration testing, support QA and UAT, and address ad hoc queries.
• Practice test-driven development, automated testing and continuous integration.
• Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and foster skill development.
• Analyze programs and troubleshoot production issues, identify performance improvements.
• Collaborate with regional and global team members and understand change management and release processes.
