Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the CCB AI/ML engineering group in New York.

You will be a core technical contributor, delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable fashion and guiding AI-assisted engineering practices across teams. You will lead design, development, and production code for AI/ML solutions, ensuring secure coding, code reviews, and high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience leading use of enterprise AI-assisted development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
Develops secure high-quality AI/ML engineering production code and reviews/debugs code written by others.
Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation value.
Identifies and automates recurring issues to improve stability of software applications and systems.
Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams to assess architecture and applicability.
Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies and best practices.
Adds to team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
