Job summary

Apogee Global RMS in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Node.js / Java / Microservices Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable backend applications using cloud-native architectures and modern frameworks.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solutions, leveraging REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. The role emphasizes hands-on development, architecture discussions, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js development.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures and REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java, Node.js, and microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging modern architecture patterns.
• Design, implement, and optimize microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and production deployments.
