We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, integrating APIs with front-end applications, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable backend solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, tested, idiomatic, and well-documented Java code.
• Integrate APIs with front-end applications in coordination with UI developers.
• Communicate with external web services and manage API interactions.
• Maintain and enhance existing APIs, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and production issues.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Batch, Kubernetes Services, Oracle DB, and Apigee/API Gateway.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience in multithreading and design patterns.
• Proven experience in migrating monolithic applications to microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of web application security and vulnerability handling.
• Experience managing production issues and incident resolution.
• 2–4 years of experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS).
• Familiarity with BDD and TDD methodologies, including unit and integration testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes.
• Exposure to API Gateway management and performance optimization.
