Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a client project in financial services. You will design and build scalable microservices, APIs, and integration solutions in a cloud-native environment using Java, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.

You will mentor peers and contribute to secure, resilient backend systems while advancing cloud transformation initiatives with modern tech stacks like Kafka, MongoDB Atlas, and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise apps.
• Hands-on Java development with Spring Boot/Framework and build tools.
• Cloud-native experience on Google Cloud Platform with Kubernetes is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Build and support cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub).
• Develop event-driven integrations with Apache Kafka and Confluent Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
