Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC in Missouri seeks a Software Developer to support intelligence analysis products, including design, development, modernization, and operations. The Senior Software Developer provides broad backend and cloud expertise, leading major assignments and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities include building enterprise-scale services, securing DevSecOps pipelines, migrating and scaling AWS applications, and driving geospatial integrations across enterprise apps.

Qualifications

• 9–13 years of backend development experience.
• Proven proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python.
• Strong DevSecOps experience and Agile/SAFe familiarity.
• Advanced AWS expertise with containerized apps.
• Geospatial systems experience and enterprise integration.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring developers.
• Proficient with GitLab for source control and CI/CD.
• Developed geospatial analysis code using multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale backend services.
• Architect and optimize secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated tests.
• Direct migration, scaling, and modernization of apps in AWS environments.
• Drive geospatial solution integration across enterprise applications.
• Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Supervise development teams and provide technical mentorship.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend improvements across projects.
• Support proposal writing, technical white papers, and client briefings.
