Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to deliver secure, scalable asset and wealth management applications using Java Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring AI, Python, NodeJS, RAG, and the broader Spring ecosystem.

Build modern web interfaces using AngularJS and implement cloud-native patterns with Docker and Kafka in a hybrid work model to create resilient solutions that enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on Java development with Spring Core, MVC and Boot.
• Proven experience building cloud-ready microservices with Spring Cloud.
• Strong Docker-based containerization and orchestration understanding.
• Kafka experience including design, topics, consumers and monitoring.
• AngularJS SPA development with secure API integration.
• Domain knowledge in asset and wealth management workflows.
• Solid SQL, data modeling, and data integrity emphasis.
• Excellent collaboration in a hybrid environment and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust Java microservices using Spring for asset and wealth processes.
• Implement Spring Boot services and integrate with upstream/downstream systems.
• Configure and manage Docker-based environments across lifecycle stages.
• Develop responsive frontend components with AngularJS for dashboards and workflows.
• Build Kafka-driven real-time data streaming and analytics integrations.
• Apply Spring Integration patterns to orchestrate complex workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners and QA in a hybrid work setting.
• Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure quality.
