Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Senior Developer in Charlotte, NC to deliver secure, scalable asset and wealth management applications using Java Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring AI, Python, NodeJS, and a broad Spring ecosystem. You will build modern web interfaces with AngularJS and implement cloud-native patterns with Docker and Kafka in a hybrid work model to create resilient solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on Java development with Spring.
• Proven experience building cloud-ready microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kafka.
• Experience with AngularJS front-ends.
• Familiarity with Spring Integration and Spring AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust microservices using Java and the Spring framework to support asset and wealth management processes.
• Implement Spring Boot services integrating with upstream and downstream systems for transaction processing and data consolidation.
• Configure and manage Docker-based containerized environments for development, testing, and production.
• Develop responsive front-end components using AngularJS for dashboards, trade workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize Kafka-driven event-based integrations for real-time data streaming and analytics.
• Apply Spring Integration patterns to orchestrate complex workflows for trade processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA in a hybrid environment.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain quality.
