Job summary

Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices to advance ourConsumer & Community Banking software stack. You will design, develop, and mentor within a fast-moving, cross-functional team focused on scalable fintech solutions.

You will work on end-to-end architecture, including monolith-to-microservices migrations, with a culture of Agile practices and high availability. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full stack Java development in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on with core Java, Spring and REST services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker & Service Mesh.
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, mentor, and lead as a technical SME.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional team to execute the product roadmap.
• Communicate progress clearly to stakeholders and teams.
• Lead monolith to microservices journey for a 1000+ TPS, 24/7 platform.
