Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Senior Java L3 Application Support Engineer to join our Dallas, TX team. You will provide Level 3 support for core banking platforms, including payments and settlement, and address critical incidents affecting transaction flows.

The role requires strong Java expertise (8/11/17+), Spring ecosystem, RESTful integrations, and deep SQL knowledge across Oracle and PostgreSQL. You will work in an Agile environment supporting Unix/Linux batch jobs and

Qualifications

5+ years in enterprise Java application development or support.
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrations.
Advanced SQL with Oracle/PostgreSQL, PL/SQL.
Monitoring tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana.
Unix/Linux environment and batch/job troubleshooting.
Banking/financial services exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 application support for banking platforms including payments and settlement.
Lead troubleshooting of high-severity production incidents affecting transaction processing.
Debug multi-threaded Java applications and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks.
Conduct RCA for critical incidents and implement corrective actions.
Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, patches, and bug fixes within SDLC.
