Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a Senior Applications Developer to drive full life cycle software development, architecture input, and testing across Java, Spring, RESTful APIs and Angular.

You will support containerized deployments on platforms like OpenShift, participate in DevSecOps, reviews, and mentoring while aligning with business objectives. The role emphasizes strong communication, Agile experience, and troubleshooting across production support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, leading the development of highly scalable and resilient applications.
• 6+ years of experience of deep architectural experience with Spring Boot, including experience mentoring others in its best practices and advanced features.
• 4+ years of Angular
• 4+ years of leadership experience in adopting new technologies and frameworks, guiding best practices in development methodologies, and overseeing technical project management
• 3+ years of experience in SQL

Responsibilities

• Participate in full systems life cycle management activities including analyses, requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation.
• Contribute to component and data architecture design, technology planning and testing for Applications Development initiatives.
• Lead small teams in configuring, programming and testing; perform code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Deploy services on containerized platforms; work with OpenShift and Jenkins pipelines; support DevSecOps practices.
• Provide input to project plans, ensure effective communication with stakeholders and support production deployments.
