My3Tech is seeking a Senior Developer to support the ODHS/ODDS eXPRS application in Salem, Oregon. The role emphasizes Java/J2EE, IBM DB2, Eclipse IDE, and Azure DevOps in an Agile environment with state government stakeholders.

You will contribute to maintenance, refactoring, UI improvements, and data/reporting requests, collaborating with business owners and architects. Remote work is permitted with adequate equipment and connectivity.

Qualifications

10+ years Java development experience.
10+ years J2EE development experience.
10+ years IBM DB2 UDB experience.
10+ years Eclipse IDE experience.
5+ years state government experience within the last five years.
1-3 years direct experience with eXPRS Application Development.
Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery models and Azure DevOps (ADOS).
Solid understanding of SDLC, debugging procedures, coding best practices, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver code modifications, updates, and comprehensive system documentation for the eXPRS application.
Collaborate with the ODHS business product owner to understand functional requirements; work with the technical architect to align with technical standards and document technical designs, dependencies, and solution options.
Participate in daily Scrum, sprint planning, and review meetings with Solution Development and Delivery teams; deliver regular working prototypes on a 1-to-2-week cadence.
Follow existing requirements management, design, development, and issue-tracking standards using Azure DevOps (ADOS).
Produce technical specifications for all deliverables, including database modifications, interface program changes, batch programs, application modules, and use cases.
