You will architect distributed, event-driven platforms optimized for low latency, collaborate with teams, mentor engineers, and drive platform performance and resilience.

Experience with capital markets, FIX protocols, and cloud deployment is essential. This contract role offers W2 benefits and a compensation range of $70.00–$80.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Architect distributed, event-driven trading systems for low latency and high throughput.
• Design asynchronous processing frameworks and resilient messaging services.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end trading workflows.
• Lead performance tuning and optimization across the platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Support production and non-production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
