Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation electronic trading systems within a high-performing Trade Management Engineering group.

You will architect distributed, event-driven platforms optimized for low latency and high throughput, mentor engineers, and drive platform performance, scalability, and resilience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of hands-on software design and development experience.
• Experience with capital markets or brokerage systems and the FIX protocol.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop distributed, event-driven trading systems optimized for low latency and high throughput.
• Design and implement asynchronous processing frameworks and resilient messaging services.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver robust, end-to-end trading workflows.
• Lead performance tuning and optimization efforts across the platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Support production and non-production environments, including participation in an on-call rotation.
