Job summary

Citi seeks a Java Full Stack Engineer at AVP level to join a hybrid team in India. The role focuses on building scalable microservices with Java/Spring Boot and front-end work in Node.js/TypeScript, deployed in a modern CI/CD environment.

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services, integrate APIs across databases, mentor peers, and ensure performance and security in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Experience building API services across multiple databases including MongoDB and OraaS.
• Front-end development with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build microservices that ensure high availability, resilience, and performance.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Node.js/TypeScript.
• Integrate API services across diverse databases.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and address technical debt.
• Maintain documentation for developed components and processes.
