Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Advanced Java skills including Java 11+, Spring Boot, and AWS integration.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting for Transformative AI applications.
• Write secure, high-quality code using Java and React with limited guidance.
• Leverage AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and delivery speed; perform peer reviews and testing.
• Apply SDLC knowledge to improve automation and operational stability.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS; assess upstream/downstream impacts.
• Collaborate with team to foster diversity and inclusion and share learning across the group.
